Santorini was to be the highlight of this trip! I have always wanted to go there. Well, I still have to wait to get there. We arrived at the island and were unable to get off the ship! It was raining and the water was too choppy. The authorities had canceled the cable car to get from the port to the town and even the donkeys had the day off since the trail was too slippery! Everyone was very disappointed! So .....I will need to try again someday!!!
We spent today exploring the site of the first Olympics. We are leaving Greece as I type this, heading to Itay! Sicily is our first stop.
Ship is rocking and rolling, the sea is rough! Good thing we don't get seasick! Hope the rain stays away the next few days! Caio!
